Cape Point and Boulders Beach

Cape Peninsula Tour

We at Xama Adventures provide exclusive and informative Cape Town day tours discovering the wonders of our mother city. A relaxed and flexible schedule allows us to be one of the top day tour operators as we are able to adjust to our guests needs and requirements while on excursion. Visit the likes of Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope, Boulders and the Penguin Colony, Chapmans Peak Dive, Constantia and more.

Your guide will collect you from your hotel at 08h30. A short day discussion and introduction will take place before departure. Our Tours can be done in reverse too, so that we can accommodate for traffic and weather ensuring you the best views and experience.

From here we will embark on our Peninsula Day Trip exploring all of what Cape Town and the Peninsula has to offer. We travel through the southern suburbs, past surfers corner (Muizenberg), over Boy's Drive overlooking, Kalk Bay, St James and False Bay, until we get to Boulders Beach. Here we visit the Penguin Colony.

Our next stop is Cape Point Nature Reserve where we visit the Cape of Good Hope. A vehicular is available to the top (at one's own expense) or one can enjoy the scenic walk. Once at the top one can gaze out to sea and ponder how the old ships navigated themselves around the coast lines of the world. There are a few animals such as the endangered Bontebok, eland, baboons, Klipspringers and the small Duikers to see if you are lucky. There are plenty of plant species, and smaller creatures to look out for, while in the reserve.

Lunch is enjoyed within the reserve or just outside depending on the time schedule before we make our way along the coast past Scarborough, Misty Cliffs and Kommetjie before stopping to view Noordhoek at the start of Chapman's Peak. Here we can sometimes view dolphins playing in the waves below.

Over Chapman's Peak we go and into the valley known as Hout Bay. Here we visit the old fishing harbour and browse around the craft-market. Tea time can be spent at one of the harbour cafes, excellent fish and chips fresh from the sea.

We leave Hout Bay and travel along the Atlantic seaboard past Llandudno, Camps Bay, Clifton and Bantry Bay. Stopping for some scenic pictures of the most beautiful beaches in the world. During summer these beaches are a popular destination for all visitors and locals.

We return to our starting point at about 17H30 depending on the traffic. On route back to the lodgings one may ask to be dropped off at the Water Front.

Xama Adventures thanks you for a fantastic day of fun in the sun.
